Born and raised in Orange County, California, Susan spent 28 years in the telecommunications industry, where she eventually married her longtime friend and colleague, Jon. In 2015, when the opportunity arose to relocate to North Carolina, she sensed God calling her to step out of telecom and invest more intentionally in people. She and Jon made Waxhaw home and have been part of the Five Stones community since 2016.

Susan enjoys the arts, mindful movement, exploring new cities, loving on their dog, and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about inspiring others to grow in their faith and discover wholeness and wellness in Christ. One of her favorite verses is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
