FAQ

WEDDINGS

We place a high value on healthy marriages.
Premarital counseling is required if you would like to be married by a Five Stones Pastor. Premarital counseling consists of four to six, one hour sessions covering topics such as marriage roles, healthy conflict, finances, expectations, and intimacy. We recommend couples start premarital counseling at least four to six months out from the wedding date. If you would like to request a Five Stones Pastor to conduct your premarital counseling and officiate your wedding, please contact us.

Funerals

We provide pastoral assistance with funeral, memorial, and graveside services for regular attenders and non-attenders, giving comfort and guidance to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.

The primary purpose of a funeral service is to celebrate life – a gift from God – and to encourage you in your time of grief. We desire to serve our community, offering compassion and fellowship during the crisis of death. You may request a particular Five Stones’ pastor, but we cannot guarantee that pastor’s availability. A minimum of one meeting with the family will be necessary for planning the service.

Funeral and/or graveside services require the involvement of a funeral home, which will make all necessary arrangements and provide all direction; we will provide ceremonial content and message.
