Financial Health
- Five Stones, year to date (July through December), has experienced the generosity of our community, with $1,065,683 given to our general ministry fund. This number represents 99.76% of our forecasted giving.
- Five Stones staff have been incredible stewards of the church's generosity and are operating with expenses at 84% of the budget as well as open staff positions that are not impacting our payroll.
- Stepping Stones tuition receipts are slightly outpacing our forecast, and our teachers are operating their classrooms below budget.
- Our "Brighter | Generosity" fund grew slightly to $1,438,804 as we continue to explore the future growth of our campus.
Stepping Stones Preschool
- October, Stepping Stones hosted our very first curriculum night. We provided insight into what and how their children learn at SS.
- Stepping Stones greatly valued safety as we worked with Union County Sheriffs to provide a car seat check for families.
- Moms enjoyed a time of food and fellowship as we hosted brunch for moms in October. They also helped teachers with cutting and other classroom tasks.
- In December, SS moved to a new software platform, Brightwheel, which allows parents to access school and classroom information.
- In December, our fours and TK students traveled around the world, visiting 5 countries and learning how they celebrate Christmas. All students spent the month celebrating Jesus' Birthday.
kids Ministry
- Kids Ministry partnered with Union County DSS, provided 70 kinship families with Christmas gifts, and hosted a Social Worker Appreciation in partnership with Forest Hill Waxhaw.
- Kids ministry engaged foster care families and social workers in December with 450 bags of gourmet popcorn.
- Kids Ministry walked alongside nine families as they dedicated 12 kids and committed to raising them in the truth of scripture and the grace of God's love.
- Four kids and their families attended Kid's Salvation and Baptism classes in November and joined the whole church in celebrating baptism.
- Kids ministry celebrated Christmas with "Jingles and Jammies," where kids attended Sunday morning in their jammies, heard the Christmas story, and celebrated in their small groups.
Care & Connection
- Our Care Team prayed over 143 prayer requests and hundreds of "unspoken" requests as they responded to the needs of our church.
- Flowers and care packages were sent to families experiencing the loss of a loved one.
- 26 families completed the Hang 5 Challenge.
- 12 families got involved with a Life Group.
- 17 individuals attended Explore Class and learned about our mission and vision.
- 15 individuals completed our Partner Class and have joined Five Stones in our mission to encourage people to know God and take their next step with Him.
Worship Experience
- Celebrated consistency and commitment from servant leaders. Our amazing teams that generously serve as hosts, worship musicians, vocalists, and technical producers have had an amazing impact on our church community.
- Our November worship night was well attended as our church gathered and lifted the name of Jesus through song and prayer.
- 1716 individuals attended our Christmas Eve services and heard the gospel as we celebrated Christmas together.
