Oksana was born and raised in Ukraine, before moving to the United States with her husbandand and daughter, Antonian in 2015. Her husband, Yuri, ministered as a pastor in a Slavicchurch in Colorado, and Oksana helped him while being a stay at home mom. During their time in Colorado, their son, Nathan, was born. They moved to North Carolina in 2019 and started a new chapter in their lives. Oksana and her family love living in North Carolina, and find the nature and the hospitality of people to be very heartwarming.

Oksana grew up in a post-Soviet era in free Ukraine listening to all the Bible stories told by her persecuted grandparents during Soviet times. When the time came Oksana chose to serve God as her personal Savior. She walks in this big and beautiful world with a verse from the Bible often times cited by her grandparents,

"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus." 2 Timothy 3:15-16
