A TIME TO CELEBRATE! The Five Stones Family took the opportunity to vote this past Sunday as it relates to taking next steps in expanding and relocating our ministry to the Community Campus. We are excited to share that 266 people voted and 265 of those votes were “YES”! The Elders will be sharing what this means for the church, what our next step will be and provide updates on the progress after the Thanksgiving Holidays. In the meantime, certainly a time to CELEBRATE as we continue to align ourselves with the desires of God’s heart!
CONGRATULATIONS to Josh and Anna Steiner on the birth of their precious daughter. Liana Grace Steiner was born on November 18th at 4:37 pm. She weighed 8 lbs and 3 oz. We can’t wait to meet her in Wonder Zone!
DISCOVER FACTORY: There will be no Discover Factory this Sunday. We will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper as a church family and want to invite our elementary aged kids to be in the service with us. There WILL be Team Kids for those who are at church for 2 hours whose parents are serving. We will also run our Preschool environment, Wonder Zone in all three services.
GENEROSITY INITIATIVE – BOLD: Five Stones is extending our current generosity initiative, which is a challenge to the church to PRAY, GIVE, INVITE AND SERVE BOLDLY as we live a lifestyle of generosity. The Elders, Finance Team and Staff invite you to join them in pledging financially to be a part of relocating and expanding the Five Stones ministry to our community campus. The pledges will be collected through December 21st.
Current BOLD participants: Please pray towards fulfilling your current pledge, accelerating your giving and/or increasing your pledge amount over the next 3 years (thru the end of 2017). Fill out and turn in a new BOLD pledge card noting if your intentions change beyond your current pledge.
Potential BOLD participants: Please pray towards how God would impress upon you / your family to pledge and give generously over the next 3 years (thru end of 2017). Fill out and turn in a BOLD pledge card noting your intentions as it pertains to your pledge.
THANKFUL: The Five Stones Elders and Staff want you to know that as we are in the season of Thanksgiving, that we are truly thankful for the grace, love and salvation that God has provided to those who believe in Him. We are also thankful for you, those who call Five Stones “home” and your willingness to “be the church”.
THIS WEEK’S MEMORY VERSE: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:17-18
