At Five Stones Church we recognize that most kids form their entire idea of who God is and choose whether or not they’ll have a relationship with Christ before leaving 5th grade. That’s why Sunday’s are so important to us at Five Stones. Our desire is to partner with parents to help encourage children to know God and to take their next step with Him. There are 3 core truths we want every child to know before they leave 5th grade.

  1. I can trust God no matter what.
  2. I need to make the wise choice.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

So how can we do that? We can do that together by showing kids:

  • That the Bible is the source of all wisdom and truth.
  • How what they learn applies to their daily lives.
  • That relationships with small group leaders and friends matter.

Discover Factory is offered during all services.

Our desire is to partner with parents as you lead your child to know God and take their next step with Him so we’ve designed a class just for you!

Take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about Discover Factory:

  • What is your goal for Discover Factory? The goal in Discover Factory is to provide a loving, safe and exciting environment where children can learn about God and His love for them. We believe that it is our job to partner with parents as they seek to raise their children to know who God is and how much He loves each of us. We strive to equip parents with tools that will help them achieve this goal throughout the week such as take-home flyers, verse cards and God Time cards that help reinforce the weekend teaching. We value small groups, and therefore, your child will be assigned a small group that they will stay with for the entire year. We realize that community happens in circles, not rows, so choosing a service time and sticking to it is important for your child to make important friendships and be with leaders who can pour into them throughout the year.
  • How do I check-in my kids? Checking your children into Discover Factory is quick and painless. If you are a first-time visitor, please visit our Guest Services table to get started in this process and someone there will greet you with a smile and show you exactly where to go and how to walk through the process. Return attendees can check in at our Family Ministry Corner and then head down the hall to our Discover Factory Drop Room.
  • What ages can attend Discover Factory? Discover Factory is for children from K-5th grade.
  • What Curriculum is used in Discover Factory environments? We use 252 Basics curriculum which is produced by the Rethink group.
  • How secure is Discover Factory? We have gone to great lengths to ensure the safety of every child who comes through the doors of Discover Factory. Each child has a name tag that is matched to a parent identification number. Servant Leaders are screened with an interview and a federal background check. Our environments are monitored by a security team during all services. Safety is a top priority as we care for your precious little ones.
  • Can my child attend more than one Discover Factory hour in a weekend? Because of our Worship One, Serve One philosophy at Five Stones Church, we do allow children to stay for two services. For our servant leaders with elementary age children staying on campus more than one service, we offer Team Kids. Team Kids is an additional experience for our servant leaders’ children to play games, engage in fun interactive stations, and have a light snack while their parents are serving on Sunday mornings. Kids is offered for K-3 during our 9:15 hour and 4th-5th grades during our 11:00 hour. Your child will be escorted back and forth without you having to check them out and back in. If your child is attending Team Kids 1st, he/she will be dropped at the Team Kids entrance. If your child is attending Discover Factory 1st, please drop them at the regular Discover Factory drop room door.
  • What if my child has allergies? Allergies can be printed on the child’s individual name tag. This can be done at the check-in kiosks or by giving us more in depth information, especially for severe allergies by contacting the Director of Children’s Ministry.
