At Five Stones Church, we recognize that most kids form their entire idea of who God is and choose whether or not they’ll have a relationship with Christ before leaving 5th grade. That’s why Sunday’s are so important to us at Five Stones. Our mission in Family Ministry is to partner with parents to leverage their influence for the next generation to know God and take their next step with Him. There are 3 core truths we want every child to know before they leave 5th grade.

  1. I can trust God no matter what.
  2. I need to make the wise choice.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

So how can we do that? We can do that together by showing kids:

  • That the Bible is the source of all wisdom and truth.
  • How what they learn applies to their daily lives.
  • That relationships with small group leaders and friends matter.

Discover Factory is offered during all services.

Imagine being on the frontlines of helping children learn to take ownership of their faith!

It could be as a small group leader, large group communicator, check in team or admin help behind the scenes.   Imagine being part of God’s big story!

We are gearing up for a new year in Family Ministry and are in need of additional servant leaders in Wonder Zone, Discover Factory, Outpost, and Summit. WOW! Imagine helping preschoolers or elementary kids discovering who Jesus is and being a part of them learning how they are incredibly loved by Him. Imagine being on the frontlines of helping students learn to take ownership of their faith! If this excites you…we would LOVE for you to join our Team!

What does it mean to be a follower of Christ?

Through our Start Here Class, we desire to equip you with tools to lead your child in conversations about how they are loved incredibly by an amazing God and are invited to be a part of His Big Story.  The date for the next Start Here class has not been set yet.
