Counseling appointments can be scheduled with our Diretor of Care and Counseling, Kellie Spear MA, LPCA, LMFT, at
There is a fee for each 50 minute counseling session (need based sliding scale available).

Kellie has a passion for walking alongside people as they navigate the twists and turns of life and move towards healing and wholeness.  In her counseling work, she empowers individuals and couples to overcome personal obstacles to improve their relationship using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Attachment Theory.  As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, Kellie previously worked in a private practice setting where she worked with individuals (adolescent to adult age), couples, and families in a variety of areas including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Life transitions
  • Parenting
  • Pre-marital and marital therapy
  • Relationship challenges (couples, families)
  • Self-image/Identity issues (pre-teen to adult)
  • Spiritual concerns

Kellie strives to foster a relationship with her clients that is built on trust, openness, safety, and acceptance recognizing that it is often the first step that is the most difficult step to take on the journey towards healing. In her work with couples, she has received additional training through workshops and seminars in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy.  She is also a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator.

Kellie received her  Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where she learned to integrate theology and psychology in a way that attends to the biopsychosocial and spiritual needs of a person.  She also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and looks forward to using the gifts and life experience that God has given to her  to help you reach your counseling goals.

The Pastoral Staff is also available to meet and talk about issues that you may be experiencing.   If you would like to set up an appointment to meet with a Pastor, please email Barb Schill at
